Spokane TIES record high temperature!
It hasn’t felt much like February lately, but Friday was ESPECIALLY warm. The high temperature at Spokane International Airport climbed to 60°!
We’re about two months early for temperatures in the 60s. It is very rare for Spokane to reach 60° or higher in February. It’s only happened nine times on record. The last time was back on February 20th, 1995, when the temperature climbed to 63°. That was also our all time record high for the month of February.
To put things into further perspective, just think back to February 28th, 2019. We had 17″ of snow on the ground, and the high temperature was 26°!
