Spokane Public Schools considering new bond for school improvements, replacements
SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Public Schools is considering asking voters to pay for a new bond for school improvements and replacements.
Some of the potential projects include building an additional elementary school at Qualchan as more people move into the west side of the district.
It would also include modernization projects at North Central High School and replacing or remodeling Adams, Balboa and Madison Elementaries.
The district will hold a special meeting on Thursday to update some of its recommendations.
SPS has not put a price tag on the projects at this point.
