Spokane Police involved in standoff with domestic violence suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. — UPDATE: The standoff at Cook and Hartson has ended. The suspect, identified by police as 54-year-old Martin Branham, surrendered to police. Branham is under investigation for violating a domestic violence order.
He was arrested for unlawful imprisonment and violation of a domestic violence order of protection.

There is heavy police are in the area of 2500 E Hartson. According to Spokane Police Officer John O’Brien, a man is refusing to come out of a house on a domestic violence order violation investigation.
Police activity in the area of 2500 E Hartson may impact traffic in the area for some time. Will update.
