Domestic violence suspect near Crestline St. in custody

SPOKANE, Wash. — A person who caused a standoff in the Hillyard neighborhood surrendered late Monday night.
Spokane Police and the SWAT team were at a home near Crestline Street and Columbia Avenue for several hours Monday. According to police, the suspect reportedly violated a no-contact order early on Monday.
Spokane Police said the man refused to come out. People in the neighborhood received several emergency alerts asking them to stay inside.
Crestline from Columbia to Cook has reopened.
