Spokane Police arrest man suspected of killing woman found inside burning car
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police have arrested a man suspected of killing a woman found in a burning car on Thursday night.
Police and Spokane Fire responded to the car fire on 27th and Fiske, right next to Thornton Murphy Park, at around 9:30 p.m.
It wasn’t until they put out the fire that firefighters discovered a woman’s body inside.

Yasir Darraji was booked into the Spokane County jail on first-degree murder charges Friday night, according to Sgt. Terry Preuninger with the Spokane Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
