Spokane man sentenced to 23 years in prison for child porn

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane man has been sentenced to over 23 years in federal prison for production of child pornography.

42-year-old Jeffrey David Wint pled guilty to the offense on March 8.

His sentence will be followed by a life term of court supervision after he is released from prison.

Wint will be required to register as a sex offender.

According to court documents, Wint gave his young victim numerous gifts, including hockey jerseys, expensive sneakers, and outings.

The victim told of the abuse to his mother, who then called police.

Officials executed a federal search warrant at Wint’s residence where they found more than two dozen videos of abuse and approximately 25,566 additional images and videos of child pornography.

Wint admitted to molesting the child-victim almost weekly over a four-year period, beginning when the child was 12.

He also admitted videotaping many of the acts of molestation, most of which occurred at Wint’s home or the home of his elderly parents.
