Spokane man arrested in Lewiston for having 87 grams of meth

LEWISTON, Idaho — A Spokane man who was in a car that was pulled over in Lewiston Sunday night is now in jail for drug trafficking.
Lewiston Police officers pulled over a Subaru Forester for speeding in the 1000 block of Main St. around 6:20 p.m.
LPD says a narcotic detection K9 alerted officers to the presence of a drug odor. They searched the car and found 87 grams of methamphetamine, some marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. A 49-year-old passenger named John M. Hill, of Spokane, was arrested to trafficking in methamphetamine and taken to the Nez Perce County Adult Detention Center.
The driver and another passenger were arrested for outstanding warrants and other misdemeanor drug charges. Neither have been identified.
