Spokane Historic Preservation Office accepting applications for façade improvement grant
SPOKANE, Wash. — Have a historic building that needs rehabilitating? Well, the Spokane Historic Preservation Office announced they will be offering the Historic Preservation Façade Improvement Grant for a third cycle.
Selected applicants will receive grants of up to $5,000 in matching funds for the rehabilitation of historic façades. On their website, they said all properties listed on the Spokane Register of Historic places and within the City of Spokane are eligible to apply.
The program was introduced in 2019 by a revision in the City’s Historic Preservation Ordinance.
Applications are due Tuesday, June 15 and those interested can find more information on how to apply on their website.
