Firefighters knock down house fire in Lincoln Heights neighborhood
SPOKANE, Wash. — First responders from the Spokane Fire Department and Spokane Co. Fire District 8 responded to the scene of a house fire near 16th Ave and S. Mt. Vernon St. on Wednesday.
Crews on site said nobody was inside the home at the time.
Firefighters said they were able to knock down flames fairly quickly, but heavy smoke continued to linger.
