Police: Woman who crashed car and pulled fake gun surrenders

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police took a woman into custody on Thursday who they say crashed into another car on Division and pulled a fake gun before eventually surrendering.

According to police, the crash happened at the intersection of Division and Indiana, when the woman refused to pull over and hit another car in the process.

Police say she then pulled out the fake gun. They were able to talk her down and she is now in custody.

The woman was believed to be intoxicated, according to officers.

Multiple lanes of Division were blocked at W. Indiana Ave while police responded to the incident.
