Sound Off for March 19th: School district to hand out free condoms… to 12 year olds. Is that too young?

A school district in Massachusetts could be getting ready to hand out condoms to middle schoolers.
The policy was approved in the first round of voting in Springfield.
The district has the fourth highest teen birth rate and second highest sexually-transmitted infection rate in the state.
And it’s happening to students as young as 12.
Under the new policy, a student would be able to walk into the nurse’s office and request a free condom, but at the same time, they would be educated about abstinence, how to use a condom, as well as the consequences of having sex.
This policy does allow parents to opt out.
Do you support this kind of program?
