SNOQUALMIE, Wash — After Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass got hit with mounds of snow Sunday night, Snoqualmie has since reopened but Stevens remains closed.

Snoqualmie Pass

Both directions of I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass are now open.

Heavy snowfall closed the roads early Monday morning.

The Washington State Department of Transportation said 21 inches of heavy, wet snow fell overnight. Staff have since cleared the snow and done avalanche work to reopen the pass.

Stevens Pass

Stevens Pass remains closed in both directions.

They will update on the pass conditions tomorrow, but as of now there is no estimated time for reopening.
