Simpson In Custody In Florida, Accused Of Bail Violation
LAS VEGAS (AP) — O.J. Simpson is back in custody.
A court official in Las Vegas says Simpson was taken into custody in Florida Friday, on allegations that he violated the terms of his release on bail in Las Vegas.
That’s where he’s facing charges stemming from allegations that he and several others burst into a hotel room and robbed two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint.
A court clerk says Simpson will be going before a judge at the request of the D.A. in Las Vegas, who’s filing a motion to revoke Simpson’s bail. He’s supposed to be brought to Las Vegas for that hearing, scheduled for Wednesday.
Simpson was released on September 19th on $125,000 bail.
