Previously missing 77-year-old Okanogan County woman found dead
OKANOGAN CO. Wash. — A 77-year-old woman who went missing in Okanogan County on Monday was found dead.
The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert for Alberta Russell on Tuesday, reporting that she left her home at 12 p.m. Monday and said she wanted to check on her father’s home. Her father passed away in the 1990s.
The Sheriff’s Office said she was disoriented when she left and has not driven in years.
Russell was found dead Tuesday off Highway 20 and Karamip Road on Sherman Pass, according to the Ferry County Sheriff’s Office.
