Shoshone County man arrested for sexual abuse of a child

SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho — On Wednesday, August 8, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible sexual crime involving a juvenile female.

Working collaboratively with the Osburn Police Department, local law enforcement officers investigated the incident and arrested Eric T. Goyette from Osburn, Idaho for sexual abuse of a minor.

The investigation is ongoing and due to the sensitive nature of this case and the victim(s) involved, nothing further can be released at this time.
