Shock Beat Steamwheelers 78-51
SPOKANE — After their win against the Quad City Steamwheelers 78-51 Saturday night, the Spokane Shock have clinched home field advantage throughout the 2008 playoffs.
Led by quarterback Nick Davila, who had ten touchdowns and 215 yards of total offense, the Shock set a franchise record by putting up 78 points in one game. Davila also set a new team record with 63 touchdowns on the season.
On Special Teams, the Shock recovered two of their own on-side kicks, and three separate players returned kickoffs for touchdowns.
The Shock are 14-1 on the 2008 season. They have one more home game against the Boise Burn at the Spokane Arena on Saturday, July 26th.
Their first playoff game will be on August 2nd.
