Shining Star Senior Night: LC’s North, Lake Roosevelt’s Edmo

SPOKANE, Wash. — Every senior spring sports career matters, and so many of them will never get to know how this season may have gone, nor will they get senior nights. 4 News Now continues to honor local senior athletes to recognize all their years of hard work.

Patrick North: North moved to Spokane in 2017, and jumped right onto the varsity cross country and track and field teams as a freshman. He’s a GSL first-team pick, finished fourth at the District 8 Championship, and a top-10 finisher at the state 4A meet. He also finished in the top-20 for the Foot Locker West Cross Country Regionals. He has a weighted 4.3 GPA with several AP classes, and will be on scholarship at the College of William and Mary next year for cross country and track and field.

Kyle Edmo: Lake Roosevelt’s senior has competed in cross country, track and basketball all four years of high school. He was a state qualifier in cross country this season, and played on a Raiders basketball team that made some good runs at the state tournament. He made a state appearance on the Raiders 4 x 100m relay team. He’s also an honor society member, and the Sergeant at Arms for Lake Roosevelt.
