Shining Star Senior Night: Julia Cummings from Bonners Ferry

SPOKANE, Wash. – Most athletes are limited to the sports their high school offers, but Bonners Ferry’s Julia Cummings made her own way.

She helped create the swim team at her high school, and we honor her tonight on Shining Star Senior Night.

Julia Cummings: This senior Badger was very successful in her years at Bonners Ferry. She placed third and fourth at the state meet, finishing only behind 5A competitors. Julia is a 4.0 student while taking college courses, and plans to pursue nursing in college.
