Sewer line repair closes sections of Division Street East
EPHRATA, Wash. — Division Street East, from B-Street NE to D-Street NE will remain closed for the next 7-12 days as crews from Gray Excavation work with the City to replace a collapsed sewer line.
60 residents on Crest Drive will have their water and sewer services interrupted for 5-8 hours during this repair. City crews will notify impacted residents directly with two flyers. One flyer will go out tomorrow, and the other one day before the stoppage.

The city says that “wet wipes”, the semi-disposable disinfecting and/or baby wipes, are causing the bypass pump to shut down, and asks residents to not flush these wipes to prevent a sewer backup.
