Severe weather prompts cancellation of youth sports programs at local YMCA locations

SPOKANE, Wash. — Heavy snow prompted early closures at YMCA locations in Spokane and Sandpoint on Friday.

According to a notice, the YMCA closed at 6:30 p.m. at all five of its locations in the area.

The notice also said all youth sports programs will be canceled on Saturday, citing severe weather.
