Senn Penn And Robin Wright Are Divorcing
NEW YORK (AP) — Senn Penn and Robin Wright are splitting up.
The prominent acting couple has been together for 11 years. The information that they’re separating comes from their publicist, who broke the news to People magazine’s website.
The publicist didn’t give a reason for the divorce.
Sean Penn won an Oscar in 2003 for his performance in Mystic River, and has been nominated three other times in the Best Acting category. He’s also known for his outspoken political views, which are often highly critical of the Bush administration.
Wright is also a longtime actress, having appeared in numerous films such as The Princess Bride, The Pledge and, most recently, Beowulf.
This was the second marriage for Penn, who was married to Madonna for five years in the late 1980s. It was Wright’s first marriage.
The couple have two children. Hopper Jack is 14 and Dylan Frances is 16.
