Semi jackknifes near Newport, blocks northbound lanes of US-2
PEND OREILLE CO., Wash. — Northbound lanes of Highway 2 were blocked near State Route 211 by a jackknifed semi truck.
The incident occurred 13 miles southwest of Newport.
Washington State Patrol responded and reported that there were no injuries. Alternate routes were available while a tow truck prepared to move the semi. The driver was not impaired.
