The Gonzaga Bulldogs were given a #1 seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and will take on Southern University in Salt Lake City on Thursday.

This is the university’s first ever #1 seed going into the NCAA Tournament.

The Zags were hoping for the first ever number one seen in the NCAA tournament with a 31 and 2 finish with Monday’s WCC Championship win over Saint Mary’s.
