Second marijuana shop opening in Seattle
SEATTLE, Wash. — A second pot shop is opening Tuesday in Seattle.
Uncle Ike’s joins Cannabis City, which opened in July south of downtown.
KING reports Uncle Ike’s is located on the Central District corner of 23rd and Union — an intersection that has seen more than its share of shootings, arsons, and drug deals.
The Washington state Liquor Control Board has licensed 60 pot shops in the state but only about half that many have opened because of a shortage of licensed growers.
