SCRAPS takes in abandoned puppies with rare physical condition

SPOKANE, Wash. — Two chihuahua puppies arrived safely at SCRAPS after being found abandoned in an alley on Saturday.
Volunteers at the organization have reason to believe the puppies’ abandonment was linked to their physical condition– one puppy is missing her front legs, and her brother has deformed paws.
A SCRAPS volunteer has since offered to provide foster care for the puppies in order to give them the loving life they deserve.
SCRAPS is always looking for volunteers and foster parents. Those looking to lend a helping hand can email SCRAPSRescue@spokanecounty.org for more information.
