Schweitzer’s 27th annual Fall Fest begins this Labor Day weekend

Schweitzer Mountain Resort’s 27th annual Fall Fest kicks off this Labor Day weekend, from August 30 to September 2.

You can expect to find great beers, great bands and great fans.

The festival starts Friday afternoon with bands Far Out West and Santa Poco playing, while guests can help themselves to over 80 beers, ciders, seltzers, and wines. Everything from Deschutes and Elysian IPAs to No-Li and Kettlehouse ales is available for your enjoyment.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, since bands will be playing all weekend.

On Saturday, the Miah Kohal Band starts playing at noon, followed by the Nate Botsford Band and World’s Finest. On Sunday–Balance Trick, the Josh Farmer Band and Ron Artis ii & The Truth. On Monday–Trego and Sol Seed.

This event is not just for adults, however.

For kids there will be a soda station and arts and crafts vendors throughout the village and food court.

Of course, guests can also buy the much-coveted Fall Fest souvenirs, including mugs, pints, and other glassware.

Lastly, for those who want to explore the beautiful mountaintops, this is the final weekend of summer operations. This means this will be the last time you can take a trip up the chairlift and go hiking and mountain biking.
