Sammy Hagar gifts $2,500 check to Second Harvest before live show

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Musician Sammy Hagar presented a $2,500 check to Second Harvest before his live show on Saturday.
Hagar was performing at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino, but that was not the only reason he was there.
He presented the check to Second Harvest, and according to a media contact, his foundation has made these donations two other times.
Hagar says he is very passionate about feeding hungry families, and that in his youth, his family often relied on food banks to get by. This donation will help hundreds of local families get quality, nutritional meals through Second Harvest.
