Sagle Man Killed In Highway 200 Crash
CLARK FORK, Idaho – A Sagle, Idaho man was killed Friday night after he was ejected from his pickup in a crash east of Sandpoint.
The Idaho State Police say that 51-year-old Ritchie Rector was traveling east on Highway 200 when he lost control of his 1967 Chevrolet pickup six miles east of Clark Fork, near the Montana border. He over corrected, crossed back over both lanes of the highway and onto an embankment.
Rector was ejected from the passenger side of the truck, and then the truck rolled onto him, resting on its side. He was killed at the scene. ISP determined that he was not wearing a seatbelt.
