Rollover crash at off-road park fatally injures man, child passenger unharmed

NINE MILE FALLS, Wash. — The Spokane County Medical Examiner confirmed the identity and cause of death of the man who died in a rollover crash at an off-road park.
The victim was identified as 48-year-old Shad Bordwell, and the cause of death was determined to be blunt head injury.
According to Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer, the rollover crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bordwell was not wearing his seatbelt and was critically injured. First responders transported him to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
There was a child passenger with Bordwell, who was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
