Road rage incident ends with man’s arrest after allegedly pointing gun at vehicle

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police booked a man into custody Tuesday morning for allegedly pointing a gun at a vehicle on I-90 in what is being described as a “road rage” incident.

Jared R. Vansickle, 38, was arrested for aggravated assault and booked into the Kootenai County Jail. The reporting party states Vansickle was driving aggressively on Interstate 90 and pointed a firearm at them around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office assisted ISP in locating Vansickle.
