Road Closures In Coeur D’Alene Due To Ironman
COEUR D’ALENE — Road closures require people to plan before heading out to Ironman Coeur D’Alene 2008.
Bus routes in Coeur D’Alene will be switched up tomorrow because of Ironman. A temporary route has been set up from the Riverstone transfer point going east on Foster avenue.
You can catch the bus at Foster and 4th, Foster and 7th, Garden and 11th and at Garden and 15th.
The bus might not be a bad idea, especially with the road closures associated with Ironman.
Northwest boulevard will be closed from Lakeside to the US 95 between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Local traffic will be able to use 15th street but expect delays in the morning.
The center lanes on Government Way will be reserved for Ironman cyclists; drivers can use the curb lanes. Race officials are also asking drivers to use I-90 to get across Government Way.
