Cougs to hire Hawaii HC Nick Rolovich

PULLMAN, Wash. — The search for the new head football coach at Washington State is over. Hawaii Head Coach Nick Rolovich is the new man in charge of Cougar football.

Hawaii Athletic Director David Matlin released a statement confirming Rolovich’s move to Washington State.

Rolovich also changed his Twitter biography to read, “Head Football Coach, Washington State University” and tweeted the following picture of a cougar.

Reports published late Monday first broke the news.

Rolovich, 40, has been the head coach at Hawaii for the past three seasons where he had a record of 28-27.  In 2019 Hawaii was 10-5 with wins over Arizona and Oregon State of the Pac-12.
