Reardan man dead after falling off motorcycle, being hit by multiple cars on I-90

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Clinton Heindl, 46, from Reardan, died at Sacred Heart Medical Center following a Tuesday afternoon incident on I-90.
At 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Heindl was merging onto westbound I-90 at the Sprague on-ramp riding a 2013 Ducati Superbike, when he struck the barrier and was thrown from his motorcycle into the westbound lanes of the highway.
Heindl was hit by two oncoming cars, a 2005 Subaru Forester and a 2006 Volkswagon Jetta.
Washington State Patrol lists ‘speed’ as the causing factor in the incident.
No charges are being filed.
