Rapid tests from ‘Say Yes COVID Test’ can be used up to 6 months after expiration date

OLYMPIA, Wash. — If you took advantage of free at-home COVID tests, you can use them beyond their expiration date.

The tests ordered from “Say Yes COVID test” can be used for up to six months after the expiration date on the box.

The FDA has issued Emergency Use Authorizations (EUA) for several tests to extend expiration dates. If you ordered a free test from https://t.co/YFYrrqZptR and have stored the tests safely, add 6 months to the “Use by” date (YYYY-MM-DD) on the box of your iHealth test kit. pic.twitter.com/RfNSfB8Zkt

Free tests are still available for people living in Washington. Orders can be placed online here.

Washingtonians can place orders every month. They are filled by Amazon and should arrive within one to two weeks of placing your order. Sometimes, they will be delivered in multiple packages.
