Quincy Police searching for suspects in reported drive-by shooting
QUINCY, Wash. – The Quincy Police Department is searching for the suspects in a reported drive-by shooting Sunday evening.
Officers responded at approximately 7:50 p.m. to multiple reports of shots being fired from a vehicle that was following another vehicle.
Officers located several shell casings in the area of 3rd Ave. SW between Q St. SW and R St. SW. They then found additional shell casings at a second scene in the 600 block of F. St. SW.
Quincy Police were later contacted by the victim, who had several bullet holes in his vehicle, but was not injured. The man told officers the occupants of an older, white Chevrolet truck followed him, fired at him, then sped away. The victim told police he is a former gang member and he believes that is the reason he was targeted.
