Poll: Military Vote Leaning Toward Obama

SPOKANE — A new report out details information regarding troop support of the Presidential candidates.

The report, by a non-partisan group, claims overall, troops are donating six-times the amount of money to Obama than to McCain. McCain’s campaign dismissed the report saying McCain will win the military vote in November.

Both candidates are still looking for a Vice President for their ticket and McCain says he hasn’t ruled out choosing Pennsylvania’s popular former Governor Tom Ridge, despite Ridge’s support for abortion rights.

At the Democratic National Convention Hillary Clinton will be considered for Vice President on Barack Obama’s ticket.

Senator Hillary Clinton’s effort for the Democratic nomination is not over though, and a deal between her and Obama will allow her name to be formally entered into nomination at the convention.

The General Election is on Tuesday, November 4th.
