Police searching for suspect in Krispy Kreme armed robbery

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery that took place at the Krispy Kreme in Spokane Valley Friday night.
Employees are frightened but uninjured, after an armed robber dressed entirely in black entered the doughnut store, located at 15401 E. Indiana Avenue.
The suspect demanded money from the cash register, according to employees, then fled through the store’s west door.
Based on witness description, the man is believed to be white, described as 5’11 – 6’01” and approximately 180 to 200 pounds.
Witnesses later said they saw a man run across the Spokane River pedestrian bridge and get into an older “beat up” white SUV or pickup with a canopy, then drive away quickly.
