Police arrest ten time convicted felon during traffic stop

SPOKANE, Wash. — During a traffic stop, police arrested a man Monday night who they learned was a ten time convicted felon.
The Spokane Police Night Patrol Anti-Crime Team (P.A.C.T) pulled over Jesse R. Woodward, and quickly learned he had an outstanding felony Department of Corrections warrant for escape.
Police took Woodward into custody and, after getting a warrant, searched his car.
Inside, they found a replica of an assault rifle, a handgun that was reported stolen, methamphetamine, heroin, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia, according to a release.
Woodward was booked into the Spokane County Jail on his outstanding warrant, and is awaiting further charges.
