Police arrest suspect in former Lewiston HS building vandalism
LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewiston Police arrested a suspect in connection to the former Lewiston High School building being vandalized that caused around $20,000 in damages.
Lance J. Anittila, 20, was taken into custody without incident and charged with burglary and malicious injury to property. Dylan J. Latimer, 21, will face the same charges but was not taken into custody.
The incident occurred last Tuesday at the building after police responded to a report of a broken window. Upon arrival, they found property had been destroyed and graffiti throughout the building. A preliminary estimate said there was around $20,000 worth of damage done to the building.
