Pilot program brings beer and wine to WSU’s Beasley Coliseum

PULLMAN, Wash. — A new pilot program at Washington State University Men’s and Women’s Basketball games will bring beer and wine, as well as premium dining options, to the newly-established “Cougar Den” at Beasley Coliseum.
The program follows a similar model as Cougar Football.
“We are continually searching for ways to improve our fans’ gameday experience and based on the sucess we have had with Cougville at Cougar Football games, we are excited to provide similar amenities for Cougar Basketball games,” said WSU Director of Athletics Pat Chun. “We have worked diligently with our partners at Learfield IMG College to best incorporate this pilot program and our fans will enjoy the enhanced options.”
The Cougar Den will be located on the Beasley Coliseum concourse behind sections 18-20. It will feature premium concession items provided by Fork In The Road that will not be available at other concession areas within the arena, as well as drinks presented by Coors Light.
All fans must be 21 years or older, with a valid ID, to enter the Cougar Den. Fans must keep their beverages in the area; they cannot bring them back to their seats.
The Cougar Den will be available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis and will open one hour before tip. It will close 10 minutes into the second half for men’s games and at the end of the third quarter for women’s games. It will open during Thursday’s PAC-12 opener against USC.
