People take advantage of MultiCare’s popup vaccination clinic
SPOKANE, Wash. – Vaccination clinics are still popping up around town and some of them are still offering cash incentives.
MultiCare and Hooptown USA held a joint “Rebound Spokane” event, where people could get vaccinated and shoot hoops on the brand new courts of Riverfront Park.
The health care system gave the Pfizer vaccine at the park on Saturday afternoon. Those who received their vaccine received a $50 gift card among many other prizes.
Clinics like these will continue to pop up around town to make it easier for people to access the vaccine.
“To come out into a community, partner with a fantastic organization that is Hooptown USA and the Hoopfest organization, and come together to put our resources into one pot and allow people to come down and get their vaccine, in a fun environment, is absolutely critical,” said Dr. Nicholas Strasser with MultiCare.
Those who get vaccinated can still be entered to win cash prizes from the state. In just two weeks, the grand prize will be $1 million.
Strasser says those who are still looking for the vaccine should talk with their primary care doctor to get one.
