SPOKANE, Wash. — Colton Senior Dakota Patchen has been coming to the State B tournament in Spokane for so long, it was only fitting that she and her teammates left the building for the last time, with another championship trophy.

Patchen helped lead Colton to their tenth state title in the last 11 years over the weekend.

Patchen will take her game to Walla Walla Community College next year where she will continue her playing career. She’s the subject of this week’s Shining Star.
