Pargo Staying At Gonzaga
SPOKANE — Gonzaga point guard Jeremy Pargo has decided to return to the Bulldogs for his senior season.
Pargo declared for the NBA draft in April but did not hire an agent leaving the option open to return to Gonzaga. Pargo said he would return to Gonzaga if he wasn’t sure he would be a first round draft choice.
He participated in the NBA pre-draft camp in Orlando and worked out for several NBA teams this month. Because he was projected as a second round choice, or free-agent, Pargo has decided to withdraw from the draft and return to Gonzaga.
Pargo is the reigning WCC player of the year as he led the Bulldogs to their 10th straight NCAA tournament appearance. He averaged 12.1 points and 6 assists per game last season.
