Oxycontin Bandit Targets Valley Rite Aid

SPOKANE VALLEY — A Rite Aid pharmacy in Spokane Valley was robbed early Monday morning by a man who demanded oxycontin.

Employees say the man did not appear to be armed and demanded the drug oxycontin with a handmade sign.

The robber is described as a white man in his 20s with a skinny build and short black hair. He was about 5 feet 9 inches and about 160 pounds. Witnesses said he has a thin mustache and scarring or acne on his right cheek.

The man was wearing dark blue jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt, large sunglasses and a blue stocking cap.
