Outdoor Storytellers – Lodges
If you’ve ever watched MTV then you’re familiar with the show Cribs, a show that shows you how famous types live in the lap of luxury. The show is usually filled full of huge homes and magnificent mansions. The guys at Outdoor Storytellers found such a home, but there’s one major difference… this one’s a lodge.
Bobcat John’s lodge is situated on the Clearwater River near Orofino, ID. It’s a lodge with all the modern comforts that you’ll find in the city with the flavor of the outdoors that you can only find on the Clearwater River.
The minute you walk inside the door you’ll notice that this is an authentic log cabin. Lodgepole Pines swallow you up as you walk through the lodge.
Every little detail has been covered. From the elk horn curtain hooks to the to the bullet coat hanger, the outdoors have followed you inside.
The kitchen is far from “roughin’ it”, with all modern stainless appliances. A large wraparound breakfast bar lies adjacent to the kitchen, giving off beautiful views of the Clearwater river.
The living room is an outdoorsman’s paradise. The feather lampshades and elk antlers have no problem sharing time with the flat screen television.
The theme of the home is carried over into the bathroom where you’ll find a stone lined shower and a toilet adorned with fishing lures.
The view from the deck will not disappoint as the Clearwater river offers up some great scenery.
This lodge is even equipped with a security system, Sparky the bobcat patrols the halls keeping everything in order.
All in all this lodge rises far above it’s cabin counterparts.
