Operation Spokane Heroes Needs Help

SPOKANE — Operation Spokane Heroes is showing support for the troops by gathering much needed items for the 1st Battalion 161st Infantry of the WA. Army National Guard.

The 161st Infantry will be heading to Iraq later this fall.  

Volunteers with operation Spokane Heroes say the troops are in most need of; power bars, phone cards, tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, lip balm, deodorant, beef jerky, gum, wet wipes, foot powder, soap, sanitizer, crossword puzzles, etc.

Operation Spokane Heroes supports our men and women in uniform and their families by offering discounted goods and services and helping to build moral when families are separated due to deployments.

Deadline for donations is Friday, August 8.
