Online summer program through Spokane Virtual Academy starts June 24
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Virtual Academy’s summer program is an online tuition-based program that lasts from Thursday, June 24 to August 4.
Your student can take one to two courses over a six-week period and there are plenty to choose from for every grade level.
This is the course list provided on the Spokane Public Schools website.
There are credited courses for high schoolers and then non-credit courses for Kindergarten through high school.
It’s on the Spokane Virtual Learning website that you’ll register and pay for the Summer 2021 classes.
Once you’ve done that, there are some orientation dates you’ll want to know about on June 23, 24 and 29.
If your child is taking a math or literacy strategy course — these are available for elementary and middle school students — the time on these dates will be 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All middle school and high schools students signed up for the program have their orientation from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
If you have a student who’s not a part of Spokane Public Schools, they can still enroll in this summer program.
They just need to sign an Out-of-District Transfer Agreement along with registering.
