One dead, one injured after fatal crash in West Spokane
Spokane police say one man is dead after his car went off the road along South Indian Canyon Drive near West Greenwood around 10:30 Friday night.
A female passenger in the car was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries in stable condition.
Crash scene investigators arrived on scene around midnight and began recreating the accident, which often takes several hours.
As of 12:30 Saturday morning, no word was available on whether speed, drugs or alcohol may have played a roll in the fatal accident.
