Oklahoma State Leads Washington State 15-0 At Halftime
SEATTLE — The Oklahoma State Cowboys lead the Washington State Cougars 15-0 at halftime of the 2008 season opener for both teams at Qwest Field in Seattle.
The Cowboys have held WSU to 52 yards of total offense in the first half. Gary Rogers, in his first start as Cougar quarterback, is 4-10 for 22 yards. Dwight Tardy has 28 yards rushing, but he was tackled in the end zone for a OSU safety in the secodn quarter.
OSU also has two field goals and an 11-yard touchdown run by Kendall Hunter to account for their points. The Cowboys had 198 yards of offense in the opening half.
