Odessa’s hard-working scoring champ Ryan Moffet
ODESSA, Wash. — Washington State has a new all-time career scoring leader in high school basketball. His name is Ryan Moffet, but what he wants everyone to know, he’s from Odessa.
The Senior guard broke the all-time scoring record Saturday passing former Gonzaga guard Brock Ravet, and by the time he’s done this season he will be a long way in front.
Moffet gave up a lot in his life to dedicate himself to basketball. He recalls being in the gym during prom, his birthday, even Christmas, because he says it’s the most important thing to him.
He is proud of his record, but he is quick to point out his real goal is winning a state championship. He and this teammates will get that chance in the next few weeks.
